Many security system providers offer fire and smoke alarm system monitoring to help prevent home and business fire damage. Professional fire prevention services involve monitoring the smoke detectors, fire alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors. If the alarm system is tripped due to the presence of smoke, CO, or heat, these sensors will typically be tripped. When the monitoring center receives an alert from the alarm system, they will first try to contact the alarm system point of contact (homeowner or business owner).
