Coverage and policies:
Frontpoint Home Security System works by using wireless equipment with cellular-based protection, so it doesn’t require a landline connection. Frontpoint monitoring isn’t available in some rural areas that have poor cell reception. Frontpoint service coverage is available throughout the United States and Canada.
Frontpoint’s cancelation policy allows users to opt out early, but they would have to pay a penalty fee of 80% of the remaining agreement. Frontpoint does offer a 30-day free cancellation policy.

Frontpoint Home Security System integrates effortlessly with other smart products using Z-Wave. Since Z-wave is a low radio frequency, it connects without interruption, granting you complete control over your smart home.
General Electric manufactures Frontpoint's products, and since GE is a part of the Z-Wave Alliance, the technological connection is smooth. The one exception is video monitoring, as it calls for a broadband connection.
