Financing plans
You can purchase the Abode Home Security system upfront, or you can choose to finance it through Affirm financing plans. All abode orders above $100 are suitable for Affirm’s monthly payments, over 12, 18 or 24 months, with rates from 10-30% APR. Down payment may be required, and the estimated payment amount excludes taxes and shipping fees. For purchases under $100, limited payment options are available.
Monitoring plans
Abode Security monitoring options are pretty uncommon in the security industry: there are two self-monitoring plans and a 24/7 professional monitoring service. One unique feature that Abode provides is the On-demand professional monitoring service, allowing you to subscribe to 3 or 7 days only; ideal for going on vacation and leaving someone in charge of monitoring your system.
Abode uses Wi-Fi coverage, with cellular backup for two of its monitoring plans. You can subscribe to monthly fees, or pay a yearly fee for a discount.
Abode has a no-contract policy, and you can cancel at any moment. The Basic and the Connect plan are available in the US and Canada, while the Secure plan is available in the US only.
